Trailer: FX releases first trailer for season two of Fargo

Standard

fargo-bodies[1]As you probably all know by now, one of this site’s favourite crime dramas from 2014 was the superb Fargo, starring Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Freeman, and loosely based on the 1996 film by the Coen brothers. The fact that the show’s US home network, FX, has released a trailer today is nicely timed because another of 2014’s crime drama stars, True Detective, has just started its second run. The new ‘trailer’ is not so much a trailer (it doesn’t reveal anything) but a reminder. Yes gang, we’re still here and we’re coming your way this autumn. Just in case you forgot about us. The 20-second piece of footage featuring mostly a woodpecker hammering away rhythmically, noisily at a tree (draw your own conclusions as to what that piece of symbolism means) is after the jump. Peck, peck, boom, boom indeed…
