We’ve known for a while that best-selling crime writer Mark Billingham’s stand-alone novel, In The Dark, had been adapted for TV by Danny Brocklehurst (who’s a busy boy at the moment), and now we have not only more information, but also a cast to go with it. Whenever one of our premiere crime dramas get something adapted for TV it’s an exciting time and, even though, this has nothing to do with Tom Thorne – arguably his most popular crime character – this four-part thriller looks interesting. Dicte, Tony’s Revenge and Under Suspicion coming soon to Walter Presents
As if we didn’t have enough crime drama to watch, the start of Channel 4’s on-demand service, Walter Presents, was a welcome addition to the canon, presenting us with golden nuggets of TV from around the world. I’ve already reviewed a couple of them (links at the bottom of the piece), but WP is bubbling away nicely in the background and is well worth a visit if you have time on your hands and want to watch something from abroad.
