Hannibal is one of our favourite crime dramas. Its gloriously trippy, nightmarish retelling of the Hannibal Lecter story, starring Mads Mikkelsen and Hugh Dancy (among others), has, during its three series, pushed the boundaries of taste and credulity for US network dramas.
