We’re heading into the autumn season with vigour and there’s lots and lots of new stuff to enjoy this week. One Of Us continues, while there are new series of Narcos on Netflix and the hardy perennial, DCI Banks on ITV. Over on More4/Walter Presents, The Out-Laws comes to a close.

1 One Of Us *NEW UK PREMIERE EPISODE*
The Elliots and Douglases decide to cover up Lee’s murder when the police come knocking, while Juliet’s actions have tragic and unexpected consequences. Bill and Moira turn on each other after lying to protect their son, and after confessing all to his partner, Peter decides to make an important journey. Drama set in the remote Scottish Highland village of Braeston, focusing on the aftermath when two childhood sweethearts are killed on their return from honeymoon.

2 Narcos *NEW UK PREMIERE SERIES*
The second season of Narcos continues telling the (very true and very horrifying) story of notorious drug kingpin Pablo Escobar (Wagner Moura) and the DEA agents who set out to capture him. The new episodes find Escobar on the run from the authorities after narrowly escaping arrest, fighting to keep his criminal empire together while fleeing the increasingly determined Steve Murphy and Javier Peña (played by Boyd Holbrook and Pascal).

3 DCI Banks *NEW UK PREMIERE SERIES*
When the victim of a frenzied attack is found in the woods, the team initially wonders whether it is random or related to the location – a shrine to a local girl who recently committed suicide there. However, Banks has a theory of his own.

4 Ripper Street *NEW LINEAR TV PREMIERE SERIES*
With the help of Major Haroun Al-Qadir, Drake continues to investigate the mysterious murder of the young Indian-born lawyer, but things get tricky when it becomes clear that their enquiries are stepping on Special Branch’s toes. Meanwhile, Jackson has to come up with another idea to save Long Susan from the hangman’s noose, and Reid continues to dig into the conviction of his old friend Isaac Bloom, who is also soon set to face the gallows,

5 Beck *NEW UK PREMIERE EPISODE*
The charred remains of a woman are discovered, and Säpo – the Swedish Security Services – suspect Gunvald Larsson of being involved in her death. The victim was wanted internationally as a member of a group of militant eco-activists, and with his own freedom in jeopardy, Larsson goes rogue in an attempt to locate the real killer and clear his name. However, with their target now AWOL, Säpo orders Beck to track down and arrest his own colleague, forcing him to put his own loyalties to the test.
