We’re in the middle of the start of the autumn season of new crime dramas, and there’s loads to watch at the moment. One thing that was on the horizon was ITV’s Paranoid, an eight-part drama starring the likes of Lesley Sharpe, Robert Glenister and Indira Varma. It’ll be the channel’s big crime drama for the autumn, and now it has told us when it’s going to be broadcast.
It tells the story of a female GP who is murdered in a rural children’s playground with an abundance of eyewitnesses. A group of detectives embark on what seems to be a straightforward murder investigation, but as they delve deeper into the case they are quickly drawn into the twists and turns of an ever-darkening mystery, which takes them unexpectedly across Europe. Also look out for an investigative team with more hang-ups and quirks than you can shake a psychologist at.
So that’s that, here’s a trailer:
Paranoid will start on Thursday 22nd September at 9pm on ITV.
