It’s a busy time of year, for lots of different reasons. Not only are we preparing our end of year lists, but things are gearing up for 2017’s new releases. One of the things we’re keeping an eye on is progress with the fourth (and likely final) series of The Bridge. It’s one of our favourite shows and ever since Hans Rosenfeldt announced that there would indeed be a fourth series, the countdown has been on. Now, thanks to our eagle-eyed contributor Charlotte, we know that it has started filming.
Sofia Helin posted on her instagram account last week, which will warm the hearts of all Bridge fans the world over:
Yes, Sofia has pulled on Saga’s leather trousers on again to start filming the four series. She’s previously stated that playing Saga Norén is a mental challenge, so we’re wondering if pulling on these trousers again gives her as much pleasure as it gives us.
As if that wasn’t enough confirmation, The Bridge’s official instagram also posted this:
So there you have it. Nothing much to say at the moment (we’re still not sure about the plot or when it’ll appear in the UK (likely end of next year or early 2018)), so we’ll just stare at these images longingly and stave off our excitement.
More news as we get it…
