Last year, BBC2’s Line Of Duty – that helter-skelter thriller that tells the stories of anti-corruption unit AC-12 – really broke through. So much so, it received a promotion – after record-breaking viewing figures, it got shipped over to BBC1 for its fourth series, which will kick into a gear in the next month or so. And, with the Beeb’s promo machine cranking into gear, it released the first proper trailer last night after the first episode of SS-GB. Have a look-see after the jump…
All your favourites are back – Vicky McClure, Martin Compston and Adrian Dunbar (who’s on barkingly good form in his brief appearance in the trailer) – but they are joined by some brilliant talent for series four. Award-winning actress and bona fide Thandie Newton plays DCI Roz Huntley, who looks as though she’s under suspicion. There’s also the excellent Royce Pierreson, who created a real impression in Murdered By My Boyfriend, and the likes of Lee Ingleby, Jason Watkins and Maya Sondhi. That’s quite a cast.
