We’ve reported on the Icelandic series Stella Blómkvist for a while now (see here and here), and now there is movement. Based on a series of first-person novels penned by the pseudonymous Stella Blómkvist, a hard-nosed lawyer who takes on mysterious murder cases, the series delves into the murky waters of Icelandic politics, recently in the news in the aftermath of the “Panama Papers” scandal. Heida Reed – who British audiences will know well from Poldark – takes the lead. The first trailer is after the jump.
It looks glossy and glamorous, and very action-packed.
Here are some pictures of Heida looking equally as glam and sultry…
At this moment in time, no UK broadcaster has picked it up yet. More news as we get it.
