Krista Kosonen (PurgeThe Midwife) plays one of the two main roles together with German actress Sibel Kekilli (Game of Thrones, Head-On).

Kosonen plays the exceptionally gifted undercover cop Mari Saari who has infiltrated the inner circle of a suicide bomber recruiter Madina Taburova (Kekilli), nicknamed the ‘black widow’. Thanks for the heads up, Paul. I haven’t seen much about this show in Finnish papers, as it is an Elisa original tv series (a Finnish mobile network service provider) that’ll be first showing on Elisa entertainment, then CMore, and finally on tv this autumn.

The premise for the show sounds really interesting, and based on what I read about it I’m most definitely going to watch it. After doing some digging, I now know which character Sibel Kekilli played in GoT – she was Tyrion Lannister’s love interest Shae. Btw, Krista Kosonen made a short one-liner appearance also in Blade Runner 2049.

P.s. the screenwriter’s name is Antti Pesonen.
