Martin Compston: series five of Line Of Duty starts filming in September

Yes, the great and the good were out and about sashaying up and down the red carpet at the BAFTAs at the weekend, and one of those people was Martin Compston, who plays Steve Arnott in the hugely popular Line Of Duty.

We know that, after four series, the fifth won’t be with us until next year.

At BAFTAs, Compston confirmed when the series would start filming.

Digital Spy reports that he told reporters:

“I can’t wait to get back to Belfast in September and start series five and hopefully, I survive it,” Compston said.

“You never know.”

And you really do not know with a show like Line Of Duty, especially with someone like Ted Hastings is concerned. We’ll soon find out if he’s a rotter or not.
