Sofia Helin is currently wowing yet again in her iconic role of Saga Norén in the final instalment of The Bridge here in the UK, but elsewhere the series is long gone. And that means, for Helin herself, she’s already in her post-Saga working life.
In her recent promotional tour of the UK, Helin mentioned during her Q&A that she would appear in a project that will have some connection to the UK (we’re still waiting for confirmation of that), but reports have emerged that the award-winning actress will act as executive producer on a new, Swedish law thriller.
Alexandra Rapaport, Anja Lundqvist, Eva Röse and Julia Dufvenius will star in Heder (Honour). C21 reports that it will be “an eight-part drama about four lawyers, and friends, who due to a dark experience they shared in the past, strive to make the world a better place, by helping victims of crime – particularly women.
Expressen also reports that the series will be delivered at the end of 2018, with a likely transmission date of sometime in 2019, and that Helin was slated to star in the project but because of ongoing commitments she opted to stay in the EP role.
More news as we get it.
