Like Liar before it, ITV loves a bit of psychological drama, especially an ‘event’ psychological drama stripped across a whole week.
The channel’s latest – Cheat – is just around the corner, and will be stripped across several days.
It stars Katherine Kelly and the award-winning Molly Windsor in a drama that focuses on the dangerous relationship between university professor Leah, and her student Rose, when, what begins as a seemingly open and shut case of academic deception, quickly spirals out of control, ending in fatal consequences, and triggering a devastating sequence of events that threaten to engulf them both.
