The 10 Best Crime Dramas This Week (Monday 17th – Sunday 23rd June)

After last week’s blitz of new series on streaming services like Netflix and Amazon, it’s a quieter seven days with a few notable exceptions. German series Dark returns for series two on Netflix, Gomorrah is back on Sky Atlantic and look out for Hans ‘The Bridge’ Rosenfeldt’s The Lawyer on Channel4/All4. Enjoy!

a lawyer who witnesses the deaths of his parents in an explosion as a child. He and his police officer sister discover that they were murdered by a powerful figure in the Copenhagen underworld. The discovery prompts the attorney to accept a job from a law firm who have the gangster among their clients, so he can infiltrate the underworld and seek justice.

It follows Gypsy Blanchard (King), a girl trying to escape the toxic relationship she has with her overprotective mother Dee Dee (Arquette). Her quest for independence opens a Pandora’s box of secrets – one that ultimately leads to murder.
