If we tell you we’re looking forward to the fourth series of Fargo, that would be an understatement.
Noah Hawley’s terrific anthology series has been confirmed with Chris Rock as its lead. Now new actors have joined the cast.
The Hollywood Reporter, well, reports that Ben Whishaw, Jessie Buckley and Jack Huston have joined up. Musician Andrew Bird and Jason Schwartzman are also onboard.
That’s quite a cast. Buckley – a rising star – was sensational in the recent HBO/Sky Atlantic hit Chernobyl, and Whishaw recently won a BAFTA for his role in A Very British Scandal.

The setting for series four 1950, Kansas City, Missouri.
Essentially the locale will serve as the crossroads and collisions of two migrations, Italians coming from Italy and African Americans fleeing the south to escape Jim Crow, both fighting for a piece of the American dream as two controlling crime syndicates. They are at an uneasy peace controlling an alternate economy of exploitation, graft and drugs. To cement their peace, the heads of both families have traded their eldest sons.
Loo out for it on FX in the US and Channel 4 (hopefully) in the UK.
