We like to keep abreast of the latest adaptations, and we’re hearing that a new crime novel has been picked up by Firebird Pictures.
Allie Reynolds’ debut novel, Shiver, has been snapped up for the TV treatment.
The book is set in the French Alps and follows five friends who reunite years after taking part in a snowboarding competition, where their friend Saskia disappeared. While in a deserted lodge on top of a mountain, the secrets of the past come to light.
Shiver is set to be published in 2021 after publisher Headline scored the UK rights and Penguin Putnam secured the U.S. rights.
More news as we get it.
