BBC to repeat series two of Line Of Duty

The BBC is set to repeat series two of Line Of Duty in primetime.

The hit Jed Mercurio drama is expected to return for its sixth series on the channel this year, but as a stop-gap BBC One will show the acclaimed second series – to many (including us) their favourite series – on Saturday nights at 9pm.

In series two, Lindsay Denton (Keeley Hawes in a memorable performance) gets caught up in a plot to murder a protected witness. The ambush is investigated by AC-12 and she becomes their only target as she was the only left alive. Did she plan the scheme, mastermind it, was she an unwitting accomplice and why was she the only left alive?

Line Of Duty (Series 2): Saturday 6th February, 9pm, BBC One
