The Pact season 2: BBC confirms new cast and production dates

The Pact is coming back to BBC One.

A brand-new story is currently filming in Wales and will be shown on BBC One, and boasts a new cast including Rakie Ayola.

The new series follows social worker Christine (Ayola) and her family whose loyalties are tested when they’re confronted by a stranger. Elizabeth Berrington, Lisa Palfrey, Christian Patterson, Matthew Gravelle, Aaron Anthony and Jacob Ifan also join the cast. Plus, Jordan Wilks, and Welsh talent including Lloyd Everitt and Mali Ann Rees feature.

Christine’s family, oldest son Will (Everitt), youngest son Jamie (Anthony) and daughter Megan (Rees), are trying to get on with their lives after the recent tragic death of their brother Liam. As they look forward to Megan’s wedding, the family have their lives turned upside down when a stranger, Connor (Wilks), arrives in town claiming a connection that nobody could have imagined. As buried secrets come to light, they must consider who they are and grapple with morality and divided loyalty. As their lives spiral out of control, a terrible pact may be all that can save them.

The BBC says that The Pact will air later this year.
