The Old Man starring Oscar winner and perennial award-winner John Lithgow is going to be with us soon. The series, which appears on FX in the US, has now dropped it first trailer.
Based on the 2017 novel by Tomas Perry, The Old Man tells the story of Dan Chase, a former CIA operative who has been living off-grid but when an assassin arrives and tries to take Chase out, the old operative must go on the run. While on the run, Chase rents a room from Zoe McDonald (Amy Brenneman), who he’s forced to partner up with as he fights for the truth.
With Chase flushed out of hiding, the FBI’s Assistant Director for Counterintelligence, Harold Harper (Lithgow), is called on to hunt him down because of his complicated past with the rogue fugitive. Working alongside Harper is his protégé Agent Angela Adams (Alia Shawkat) and Agent Raymond Waters (EJ Bonilla) with Julian Carson (Gbenga Akinnagbe), a highly trained special ops contractor sent to pursue Chase as well.

The Old Man will premiere on FX on 16th June. Currently, there’s no news of a UK broadcaster.
