Keanu Reeves to star in The Devil In The White City

Another Hollywood A-lister is heading to the small screen in a crime drama.

Neo himself, Keanu Reeves, will star in a new US crime drama based on a real-life crime.

The Devil in the White City is based on Erik Larson’s book of the same name, and tells the story of Daniel H. Burnham, an architect with grand visions of making his mark at the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair.

Larson’s book also focuses on America’s first modern serial killer, Dr H. H. Holmes, who built a so-called ‘Murder Castle’ hotel outfitted with booby traps and other methods of murder.

Reeves is reported to play Burnham.

It’s set to broadcast in the US on Hulu in 2023, and going by what happens to Hulu shows in the UK, could well appear on Disney Plus.

More news as we get it.
