Adrian Dunbar is gearing up for a new, post-Line Of Duty starring role in ITV’s Ridley this weekend, but the Ted Hastings actor has revealed that the BBC Jed Mercurio show could return “next year”.
Furthermore, Dunbar says that any new episodes or feature-length films would reveal who ‘H’ really is.
In an interview in the Radio Times, he says: “He’s not H. We just got the guy we could actually pin a charge on. We didn’t get H, we got Buckells, the patsy.”
“There’s been talk about a movie or a four-parter or two 90 minutes,” he teased. “We’d love to do it again. I’m really hoping something might happen next year.”
He also reveals that there is “something in Jed’s laptop – a couple of templates as to how things could go”
