Interview: Ed Thomas, Hinterland/Y Gwyll

ED-250x250Hinterland/Y Gwyll is one of the UK’s very best crime dramas, so the fact that it’s now in full swing again (on S4C, it’ll be on BBC4 later in the year) is very good news. I managed to catch up with showrunner Ed Thomas to talk about the series, and it was a really great and fascinating chat, not least because he spoke to me about his plans for the show’s future, how he takes westerns as his cue for inspiration and how the landscape and people of Ceredigion shape his stories.
