The 10 Best Crime Dramas This Week (Monday 25th – Sunday 31st July)

New US procedural, Rosewood, starts on Alibi, though, so at least that’s something new. And there’s also a rare chance to see the very first episode of doughty Jessica Fletcher classic, Murder, She Wrote.

Givens tries to find a dentist with connections to a Miami drugs cartel who is desperately trying to reach Mexico with a gang of mobsters hot on his heels. However, Riley discovers some old faces from his own time in Florida.

3 The Out-Laws*NEW UK PREMIERE EPISODE*
The Dewitt brothers shift into high gear, stopping at nothing to secure the autopsy their inquiry so desperately needs. Their investigation reunites Mathias and Bekka, though under unexpected circumstances, and they’re shocked to learn of each other’s true identities. Veerle, Eva and Birgit struggle to keep their youngest sister from getting involved in their conspiracies, but to no avail. Bekka quickly catches on, breathing new life and excitement into the plotting. Jean-Claude entertains himself by playing further pranks on Scout leader Roger, but things go too far when the police become involved.

Private pathologist Dr Beaumont Rosewood’s mother asks him to look into the death of one of her students when the police can find no evidence of foul play. As he begins his investigation, he crosses paths with detective Annalise Villa, who has recently relocated to Miami after the death of her husband, and the pair is forced to work together to help the Miami PD solve the case.

Another chance to see the first part of the pilot episode of the whodunit series, starring Angela Lansbury as a widow with a penchant for solving crimes. Jessica Fletcher is invited to a costume party where a private investigator dressed as Sherlock Holmes is found dead in the swimming pool – and her nephew Grady becomes the prime suspect in the case.
