Apple+ TV, who had a brilliant 2022, is back with another crime drama.
High Desert follows Peggy (Patricia Arquette), an on-again-off-again addict who decides to make a new start after the death of her beloved mother, with whom she lived in the small desert town of Yucca Valley, California, and makes a life-changing decision to become a private investigator.
The series is created and written by Nancy Fichman, and the Executive Producer is Ben Stiller. It’s the second Apple+ TV series we’ve seen Arquette in, after her stint in Severance.
The first three episodes will air on Wednesday, May 17, followed by new episodes weekly, every Wednesday.
