The 10 Best Crime Dramas This Week (Monday 18th – Sunday 24th February)

It’s as you were this week, which sounds like damning this list with faint praise but far from it – it’s very rare you get the likes of True Detective, Trapped AND Baptiste in one week. Other noteworthy things… we say goodbye to excellent Welsh-language S4C drama, 35 Awr, this week, and say hello to series two of Italian gangster series, Suburra. Enjoy!

Ketill is released, but his sons remain the best lead the police have and with Skuli still at large, a full search-and-rescue operation is mounted. Torfi drops a hint that Hammer of Thor are planning something big, but do Andri and Hinrika have time to work out what it is before it’s too late? Meanwhile, Mayor Hafdis is still being threatened by a mysterious opponent, but is determined to conceal it from the police until the investment deal is signed.

His attempt to keep the truth from Edward has tragic consequences, which he holds himself responsible for. Baptiste heads for London to track down Edward’s ex-wife, and on his return to Antwerp, makes a shocking discovery that answers many of his questions about his strange behaviour – but also leaves him with many more.

She’s in her room, shaken, with blood on her clothes. Could she be responsible or an innocent bystander?

The case leads him to the sleepy Oxfordshire village of Chigton Green, and is soon complicated by the fatal shooting of a local couple with an apparent connection to the first victim. Endeavour uncovers a vicious campaign of gossip and rumour, and meets a local woman who inspires him to consider his future.
